so we got asked to post a short description of the project on the blog so here's mine:


AKT: from Polish akt;

in fine arts: depiction of nude human body, predominately female;
in theater: division or a unit of drama, one of the components of a performance;
in Christianity: a short prayer that can be spoken few times a day;
in philosophy: one of the basic ideas in metaphysics concerned with explanation of the fundamental 
nature of existence and reality;

‘AKT’ is a series of self-portrait performances in which the author uses himself as a subject of the 
work which makes him at the same time an object of the gaze. The placement of an imperfect male 
body in a position traditionally reserved for a flawless female form, the use of veil, its symbolism and 
association with women and sacred objects investigates the genre of nude photography, examines 
the ideas around ideal body image and representation of masculinity in art.


not 100% happy with it but it's slowly getting there
